Rider–Waite–Smith tarot card faces

The 78 card-face illustrations used by Nireye are the original Rider–Waite–Smith designs illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of A. E. Waite and first published by William Rider & Son in 1909.

The image set was sourced from media published through the Rider–Waite Tarot article on Wikipedia and the related Wikimedia Commons collection. Wikimedia identifies the original deck as public domain in the United States and United Kingdom and warns that some later colorized editions may remain protected.

Nireye uses the original public-domain card faces, resized and optimized for web and printable display. Public-domain status means no copyright license is required for those original illustrations; attribution is provided for provenance and respect for the artist.
