How random online tarot card draws work
A random draw selects the prompt; it does not discover hidden facts, read another person's mind, or guarantee a future event.
Randomness chooses, context interprets
An online deck can select cards without using your question to choose a favorable result. That separation matters: the draw supplies an unexpected symbol, while you and the reading connect it to the spread positions and the situation you described.
Random does not mean meaningless. Unexpected prompts can interrupt a rehearsed story and surface another perspective. The value comes from the reflection the symbol enables, not from evidence that the card was sent specifically to you.
Chance naturally creates repeats
With 78 cards, repetition is expected over time, especially when you draw often. Reversed orientation changes the available combinations but does not eliminate clusters. A repeated card can still be useful to compare, as long as frequency is not treated as proof.
A transparent system should keep the selected cards stable throughout one reading and ground every interpretation in those cards. It should not silently swap the draw to fit generated text.
Keep claims inside the evidence
Use tarot to frame questions and actions. For health, safety, legal, or financial decisions, rely on qualified support and verifiable information. Random selection cannot turn a symbolic tool into professional advice.
