Tarot questions for making a decision
A decision spread should make your criteria more visible. It should not choose for you or make uncertainty disappear.
Define the two options before drawing
Write Option A and Option B in concrete terms, including the choice to wait if that is genuinely available. Then list what cannot be delegated: your values, risk tolerance, responsibilities, and decision deadline.
Ask: What does each option require from me? What trade-off am I minimizing? Which criterion should carry more weight? These questions keep the cards attached to the choice you actually face.
Read comparison without declaring a winner
One difficult card does not automatically disqualify an option, and one pleasant card does not guarantee success. Compare what kind of effort, uncertainty, or growth each side represents. The third position—What matters most—should connect both sides to your criteria.
After interpreting, score the practical evidence separately. Costs, contracts, safety, and expert advice belong in their own decision record, not inside a symbolic reading.
Choose ownership over reassurance
Summarize the reading as a trade-off you are willing or unwilling to accept. If you still cannot choose, identify the next missing fact or the smallest reversible step rather than immediately drawing again.
