Your first three-card tarot reading
Treat your first spread as an experiment. The goal is familiarity with the ritual — not a perfect interpretation on attempt one.
Step 1 — Choose a spread
Open the spread page and pick Past–Present–Future if you are unsure. Each spread type shows its three position names before you draw so you know what you are looking at.
Step 2 — Write an optional question
One sentence is enough: What do I need to see about this move? What is blocking me in this friendship? Leave the field blank if you prefer an open draw. Edit or clear the question anytime before you tap draw.
Step 3 — Draw and read in order
Watch the three cards flip, then read each section in position order. Do not skip to synthesis first — the build-up matters. When the full narrative appears, read the synthesis, reflect on the prompt, and note one small next step.
You can save the reading to your journal, share the cards and synthesis without your private question, or start another draw.
