One card for one question
Use one card to explore what needs your attention and choose a small next step.
Single Card at a glance
- Focus
Use when: You want a short pause around one specific question.
Choose another approach if: You need to compare several options or examine a complex situation.
Example questions
- What deserves my attention right now?
- What perspective could help me approach this conversation?
- What can I bring to this task today?
Choose a small enough question
A single card works well when you can name one thing you want to reflect on: how to approach a task, what needs your attention, or a stance you might bring to a conversation. An open draw is welcome too. The card offers a symbolic lens rather than a yes/no verdict.
This reading is separate from the daily card. The daily ritual gives you a consistent card for the day; Single Card draws for the question you bring now. Choose the daily ritual for a regular check-in and this layout for a specific focus.
Stay with the image before expanding
Read the card in its upright or reversed orientation, then notice which part of the interpretation fits your actual experience. You do not have to force a connection. The synthesis gathers the same card into one perspective, followed by a reflection and a small action.
If several independent questions are competing for attention, choose one first. A new card is not automatically a correction to the previous one. Save a short note about what you noticed so that a later revisit has context.
Explore the symbols in context
These cards offer examples of themes you might explore with Single Card. They are not a required combination or a promise about which cards you will draw.
